Life story
June 5, 1964
Born in Hong Kong on June 5, 1964.
April 22, 2008
Billy (Kwok L.) Wong was born in Hong Kong on June 5, 1964 to Yat Chung Wong (father) and Kit B. Wong (mother).  He was number 8 of nine children: Ching, Pearl, Sue, Kay, Jeannie, David, Fannie & Maysin.
When his family came here to the United States, they settled in Bronx, NY.  Billy began his career in the USPS as a letter carrier and then switched to the maintenance craft which was perfect for him.  Where else could a guy get easy access to tools....for free!  In 1994 he met his then girlfriend, Betty who he eventually married in 2/9/08 and during that time they had two beautiful kids, Kiana and Tristan.  He was a wonderful husband and the greatest dad.  Billy loved to be surrounded by his family and friends and was always on the look out for another get-together.

Billy's loves in life besides his kids and family were food and electronics.  He loved to experiment in cooking and one of his hobbies was photography. Another thing he loved to do was talk - he was always a wealth of information whether you asked him or not.  He was always knowledgeable in every subject and didn't hesitate to let you know his opinions.  He also loved to argue or what he considered "debate".  But that was his personality - very strong and opinionated.  I have to mention also that Billy was a big Yankees fan.

Needless to say, we did not know that we would not have that long of a time with Billy.  After being diagnosed with his disease in early February, 2008, Billy finally lost his brave battle with cancer in April 22, 2008.  In life he tried to live it to the fullest and in death at the young age of 43, we can only imagine all the great adventures he is and will be having in the great beyond.  You can guarantee that Billy will have a camera by his side looking over us and finally at peace.  Although we are all deprived of his presence, we are content with the knowledge that our beloved Billy will no longer be suffering and in pain.  You will be missed!
